Today felt like a rush and that more work was going to be shoved upon these lovely 'ol shoulders, and alas, it was. But I prevailed, working my hardest. Now, as part of my studying I shall type up the Star-Spangled Banner and edit it tommorow (I could not, for the life of me, remember the words of My Country, 'tis of thee).
Oh say can you see, by the dawn's early light.
What so proudly we hailed, at the twilight's last gleaming.
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight,
o'er the rampants, we watched, were so galantly gleaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
gave through the night, that our flag was still there.
Oh say does that star-spangled banner yet wave.
Over the land of the free and
the home of the brave.
Ha ha, that's a joke of a first part. But that is all we have to memorize.
Dost thou accept thy test bestowed upon thine?
