Another Rant: Redux.
Aug. 12th, 2008 03:54 amGood morning America.
Or rather not.
Then again it is 3:55 AM, when I began typing this up anyway.
It's a wonder why not many people give trust to others so easily, partly because of the reason that many individuals are fascist, hypocrites. Joy.
Today--or rather yesterday--I found out that apparently--despite the fact that mom had been on a payment plan--the gas was turned off and that we will not be having heat for possibly two months or more due to the incredibly, ridiculously high cost of gas. I mean it's now what, $600 a month? That's ridiculous. Fuel Assistance could not help us with that and only helped us with half of what they promised to give originally a month which is $300. Also, we were behind (and still are :/) on the gas bell--around $1200 to be exact. I swear they just shut off the gas because they want that us to pay in full--oh don't forget to add on the $200 turn on fee. Yes, that's right... turn-on fee.
No cooking on the stove (I absolutely loathe eating take-out, no matter how good it tastes :/).
No hot water.
No heating during the fucking winter.
This is going to be the greatest time of my life. Whoo hoo.
ugh. :(
